Buy the best your budget will afford. You won't be sorry.

Since I'm a happy handi quilter owner. I looked and tried many. At my age it was important that I could handle the machine. I also looked at service. Do you want a computer? These were some important thing for me. But everyone has their preferances as to what they are looking for in a machine. Happy hunting.

Money might not be a consideration ... but space is more important. Price is second. Whether you can bond with it and is there local - or easily available - support for whatever you decide on is third. Know that some training should be given when you get it to help you learn.

My HQ was used, a friend made the table, and I got the computerized portion on sale too.

Have fun,
ali

If money were no object, I'd get the Gammill or Innova. If money were no object, I wouldn't have to worry about size of my shop -- IT would be built big enough!!!! Going to a longarmers convention would allow you to try out any and all of the quilt machines to know which is best for you - for your feel..... :)
