The fuse on the 18x8 machine may blow because of 2 reasons. When starting to quilt do you bring up your bobbin thread each and every time before beginning? This process is very important to keep the bobbin thread for getting stuck in the bobbin case or race. The handwheel will seize and blow the fuse. The fuse you need to replace it with is a 4amp low blow fuse from radio shack. Part # 270-1066. The second reason it will need to see the sewing machine tech at your Dealership. It is internal. Hope it is nothing serious.

Check to see if the hand wheel is turning freely. If it is jammed it will blow the fuse. If it is turning freely your problem is probably internal and you will need to have it looked at by a dealer. Hope this helps, good luck!!! Feel
free to PM me if I can be of any help.

I'm calling around tomorrow to see who can work on my quilting machine. I need it ASAP. I have my DWR on the frame and it has been started so I can not finish it. Got two blocks completed before the machine went haywire.. I planned on getting it completed this week.

And circuit boards that have probably burned out. Big $$$$ to get repaired. I have repair person coming to my house.. I'm glad for that. I did not want to have to take it apart, load up a more than heavy machine and drive for an hour to the repair shop. Plus when repair is done reverse the process.

Longarm repaired. The motor was bad which caused it to blow fuses and burn out power supply. Fortunately parts were under warranty.
