I am sooo excited !! they are coming to set up my new Tin Lizzie tomorrow and I was wondering where everyone gets their patterns for the stitching on the quilts? When I try to look it up I just get quilt patterns.
Also where is the best place to buy thread and bobbins.
Thanks for any help.

Googe 'quilting designs' or 'quilting motifs' and you'll get what you're looking for.

Everbody keeps saying connectingthreads.com is the place to buy thread. You can also look up superiorthreads.com.

Check at your libary they might have some there.I got some at the libary were I use to live.I knew I wouldn't be able to just drop by any time when I left there so I had went looking for patternsof quilts that wern't new an were older ones an i found two books of quilting patterns that were thirty or fourty year old books an you could tell they had been well used .Had a permision ti use in the front of it so i hand copied the quilting patterns out of them on tissue paper an stuck them in a notebook
an almost forgot about them till one day when I got that notebook out to get something else out of it.

The majority of my pantographs are Deb Geissler's. They are very nice and smooth to follow. Check out her website at DebraGeissler.com
