Hopefully I'm not barking up the wrong tree...
My Mom has asked me to watch for places where her church could post their upcoming show. It is in North Chili, which is in western NY (Rochester area). Most people wouldn't drive from further away than Syracuse (to the east), Niagara Falls/Buffalo (to the west), and possibly the Pennsylvania border (to the south). They usually have about 100 quilts in the show. Since it is a church, they would be looking for free (or practically free) postings.
If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them. They do post in Quilter's Newsletter magazine, because Mom is a subscriber/member. Apparently the Rochester newspaper does not have a free section for non-profits.
Thank you all.

Make some flyers and post them at your LQS's and sewing machine shops. If some of the ladies belong to various churches, have their pastor/minister/father note it in there newsletter or flyer.

Grammy Dwynn,

I forgot to say, they do already print up scads of flyers and post them wherever they can. We don't have too many quilt shops close by. They post flyers in all kinds of neighborhood places as well. Plus they attend local quilt shows and pass them around. I guess what Mom is looking for are any new places where more quilters would see the info. The show is somewhere around 20 years old. They try very hard to increase the promotion of the show to maximize attendance.

Thank you for your input.

Ruth,

Thank you; I believe they have TV and radio covered. I think they are looking for publications that might be new or new to them.
