Looking for good quality sewing/quilting machine

    Hello,
I am wanting to purchase a new sewing/quilting machine that is less than $1.000.
Embroidery is not necessary (it would be a nice bonus though)

I am not sure what I should be looking for in terms of a sewing/quilting machine.
Any thoughts / suggestions/ preference would be appreciated!
LaQuita (aka) - Yai-Yai to the most precious grandbaby around of course I'm partial! LOL

    HAPPY QUILTING!

I would check local dealers to test drive machines in your price range. You could also check their websites to look at their machines to see what whistles and bells you want before going to dealers. Most dealers do not show prices on line. Good luck with your quest.

Right now the Viking dealers are selling the Emerald at a great price because it is a discontinued model. You can buy that and have money left over for fabric.
