Looking for an idea - how should I use this block of pieced squares?
I made a bargello block for my Under the Veranda block of the month. This is the Veranda block, I don't have a picture of the left over on hand... maybe I can add it later. I am at work, block is at home. There are 5 strips, so it is about 10" x 22" cause they are all 2.5" blocks with a 1/4 seam allowance. I do have one more strip of these blocks that I could add on, but I liked the balance with just 5 so I left it off. I arranged the strips so the matching blocks are in a V-formation, adding the sixth would just mess up the balance on one side.
I had thought about making a Sew Trendy bag and using this (quilted) as the exterior, but now I don't really want to. The suggested "bonus project" was a table runner that was basically this with a border and batting, but I am not sure I want to do that either. Any neat ideas?

So here is a photo of the example table runner they had at the shop (Wish Upon a Quilt if anyone is interested). I didn't cut my remaining fabric in smaller strips to make rectangles like they did... so mine are all square. I do have the fabric to make this runner though... I have 1/4 yard of that pink with the idea of using it as the inner border, and I have 1.25 (or 1.5?) yards of a coordinating fabric from the same line for the outer border. So I guess I could make this, I am just not excited about it.
