I live near Coatesville, PA (Chester County) and I would love to have a local LAQ. I have used one in NC, and they are very good, but kind of expensive. Doing it by mail has a lot of disadvantages for me as I would rather discuss pattern, batting et.al. face to face. Also would be able to get advice about how the quilt should be prepared for the quilter.
Maybe I would even find a quilting friend this way, as I recently moved here and don't have any quilting contacts at all.
Please PM with any ideas or names.
Thanks.

My favorite and most helpful one is Ladyfingers outside of Oley, PA. They only carry Andover fabrics. Their prices are fair. The ladies at Hayloft Fabrics in Morgantown, PA are very helpful, too and inexpensive.

OMG, you live just on the edge of a fabric mecca! Within 30 minutes of you towards Lancaster are tons of fabric stores, many owned by the Amish so the prices are great. Google Lancaster fabric stores and lots will come up, many over towards your area.

Thanks, I do buy fabrics there, but never gave the LAQ a thought. I guess that is a real "Senior Moment". I will let you know how I make out.

I think she is looking for a Long Arm Quilter not a Local Quilt Shop. Although I am sure the shops know of LA Quilters.

There used to be a section on this board where long arm quilters could list their names and locations. Can't find it anymore. Maybe contact Administration???
