I am currently working on a mariner's compass - I bought the fusible interfacing pattern from Quilt smart - I highly recommend this method - I have never paper pieced or sewn curved seams - this method makes it easy and love the look.
Welcome to the Quilting Board!

I am currently working on a mariner's compass - I bought the fusible interfacing pattern from Quilt smart - I highly recommend this method - I have never paper pieced or sewn curved seams - this method makes it easy and love the look.
I also recommend Judy Matheison's books.
Here is a link to pictures I posted of the quilt I made using her book. The quilt is my own design but the compass blocks in it came from her book.
My Mariner's Compass "Dan's Tats" won a vendors choice ribbon
Have you checked out "Wedgeworks I or II by Cheryl Philips. Very easy instructions to follow and the end results are fabulous.
Quilting is my PASSION not my pass time.
