Default Looking for Minnesota fabrics

I want to make a quilt for my nephew and his new bride. They live in Mn and they hunt, fish, ice fish, camp etc. etc. I have found quite a few fabrics that I would like to buy, but I am finding 1 fabric at 1 shop maybe another at another shop. Does anyone know of a shop that might carry a lot of them? I only need up to 1/2 yard of each. Any help is appreciated.

I found a bunch on Ebay -- both the sports teams and the outdoors fabric.

Hingeley Road quilt shop, located in Floodwood, MN has lots of Minnesota fabric, including an exclusive line of Hoffman batiks with Minnesota themes. Just be warned--this year's Quilt Minnesota fabric misspells Lake Vermilion.

Krisb: I will need to see if I got any fabric this year with names on it. Interesting info.

DivaDee: That will be a very special quilt. Gruber's Quilt Shop, St. Cloud-go to fabrics and then Quilt Minnesota for some fabrics.

Also, you could check out quiltminnesota.com for last year's fabrics and the stores that participated.

Well, am I embarrassed. The misspelling is from the 2013 fabric line. No wonder places still had that panel in stock! Is this like postage stamps, and it will be worth a fortune in 100 years? We will never know.

Yep, Gruber's is a good place to look. Also River City quilts.

Front Porch Quilts in Walker, www.frontporchquiltshop.com/, is another good place. The owners also own QuiltMinnesota.

And speaking of themed fabrics, I'd love to find some featuring Peterbilt trucks, or even fabric printed with semi-tractor trailers. (We have friends in the trucking business, and it would be fun to do a quilt and/or a Christmas tree skirt with that theme.)
