    This also looks a lot like what I know as Joseph's coat....difference being centers are white, petals are scrappy..and they seem a bit more elongated. I do know EZ Quilting does have a template set for doing it....when I TRIED it..from a class, we made our own templates with a compass..make circle a certain size ( forgot dimensions) then by bisecting and arcing into it a certain way we got the petal shape template along with the center.....very difficult way of getting those pattern pieces...easier to order plexi template set...which I have since done...but not used YET! Another someday project....

    jrhboxers did a lot of research and found this in a long travel article from 1995. I thought I would pull the pattern out of the article for those who are interested in it.
