Good Morning! I am new to the board, but I have been reading for a little while! Such talent here . . WOW!!I am trying to find (which?) magazine has a pattern that I am looking for . . I was hoping someone would recognize it. I took a picture of the magazine, found it on ebay, and deleted my picture. And, ebay deleted my link. SO!I know it isn't fons and porter, because they list the projects in each magazine. It might be American Patchwork - that rings a bell -- but I can't find listings for projects within issues.The pattern was a modified log cabin, and I remember the issue saying something about new ways to look at 'old' blocks . . . it used medium, light and dark to make a large star within the quilt. I want to say that the sample quilt was done in shades of blue.I am glad to buy the pattern/magazine, if I could just find it!!Does this ring a bell with anyone?thanks so muchLara

I finally got some quality fabric, and now I can't find the pattern!

I was just reading Pittsburgpam's post and she has a picture of her quilt in a Log Cabin Star pattern. The title of the post was... To wash the backing or not. If you go up to the search box and type in the title, you can have a look at hers and see if that's the one your looking for.

Don't know but dunster has a nice star log cabin pattern, check her out
