I'm heading to Omaha, NE to see my best friend and attend a conference this weekend. I'm hoping to get some free time to visit some of the LQS there. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Go see the Quilted Moose in Gretna...which is on the far west side of Omaha. It is a great shop. If you are driving in you could hit it on the way in. Also Country Samapler at 11928 West Center Road...seems to be a favorite of many. (there is a 2nd one too, but dont know the address ) Personally, I like stopping at Manglesens ( a big craft store). They have fabrics, but also lots of scrapbooking stuff and so much more. They are usually having a good sale whenever I stop. It is north off
I-80 at 84th street on the right hand side of the road...about 2 blocks. there are others too, but can't think of them right now. These are some that are close to where we are when we visit Omaha.

Omaha, Nebraska is minutes from Councill Bluffs, Iowa.
Check in that area as well.
We were there in May for a wedding but didn't have enough time to go to quilt shops.
Have fun!

If you can, go to Lincoln and see the International Quilt Museum Exhibits. (hope I got the name right) They change periodically so look them up to see hours and what is on display--well worth the side trip.
