    Default Looking for a pattern.....

    Hi,

I have been reading this website and it's full of a lot of good information. I was wondering if you could all help me out.

I'm looking for a pattern from around 1999. The pattern is called "Scrappy Stars" and it was printed through Craftco. I have been looking for this pattern for years and have never come across it. This weekend I found the advertisement once again for in in an old 1999 magazine and I still have a desire to make it. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!

here's another... you need to search on google for 'scrappy stars' and look at the results... there are a lot so it's hard to know which you are looking for..

If I were you, I'd do a Google search for "Craftco Scrappy Stars". You should do the same on eBay. At one time or another, absolutely EVERYTHING shows up on eBay. If you don't find it immediately, you can set up a search alert with eBay for it, whereby you will get an email notice when one comes up for sale. Wish you all the best luck!

I googled and found this: http://www.marshamccloskey.com/vintagemoments.html But if you could post a pic, there are a lot of talented people here who could probably help you diagram the pattern.

First time scanning and posting a picture so please bear with me. Hope this picture is big enough. It didn't like it when it was full size and now this is the only size that I can figure out. Thanks for all your help so far. I have googled as many ways as I can think of with no luck. Did do ebay, but not with the search alert (will have to try that). The Vintage Moments pattern is from the same series....I did make that one and it turned out really well. Thanks for everyone's help!

Scan your picture. Save it. Take it into Paint and reduce it to 25% of its original size. I have to do this all the time. Then save it again and it should post without any problems.

Rush to your news stand tomorrow. I'm sitting here now looking at the cover of "Quilt" magazine and it's cover is "easy scrappy stars" and it's really pretty. Two sizes of stars incorporated into the quilt!
