    The embroidery blocks are from Jack Dempsey. There is an internet site and JA sells them online. I think a very clever person made her own pattern. It is beautiful.

    Is the embroidered flowers (roses?) embroidered or cross stitch.
    Better to do something imperfectly, than nothing perfectly.
    Done is better than perfect.

    I agree with patchwork - looks like those embroidery blocks were makers own design. I have a couple of books on mountmellick embroidery and if it were me i might be tempted to use a few designs from there. In fact you could probably get a lot of free redwork designs or similar embroidery designs.
