I'm about to start making some new summer pillow covers for the decor pillows I use on my leather sofa. I'll be using cheater cloth squares for the front of the pillow covers which I'll hand quilt around the floral design but have any of you any suggestions as to what I can use for the backing to keep the pillows from slipping/sliding on the leather. Any fabrics I've already used for backing never seem to keep the pillow on the sofa or at least from sliding on the leather. I've wondered about attaching rubber jar rings but that's too tacky for this project. Help!

Maybe use a heavier pillow form, or weight it somehow?

A fabric with some texture to it might be helpful...
