4 - 5- etc patch blocks alternating with one of the solid colors or even both.
Rail fence.
I used to have a file on them, but decided to delete that file as there were so many choices.
Of course you can always do some quilt patterns using shades of 2 different colors but that would mean more than 2 different fabrics.
