I am looking for fabric that has piano keys on it. My boys take piano and I want them to be able to practice when we are in the car. I thought if I could get fabric that has the keyboard on it I could make something up.

Robert Kaufman has a line of piano related fabrics called "All that Jazz"

    Here's an ebay link:

I think it might be better to just buy an inexpensive keyboard with headphones if you are wanting them to practice. My youngest takes piano lessons, I don't think he would be satisfied with a make believe keyboard.

You can always make them a quilt. Study the keys on the piano, then sew a 3-inch wide strip of black to a 2-inch wide strip of white (width of fabric), and cut the black keys about an inch wide and sew them to 2-inch X 5-inch strips of white. You will then have a piano keyboard which will be close to the right size for their fingers.

Or, applique some black felt or wool down on a white strip of fabric or use a fabric pen and draw the keys on it. I bought a set of fabric pens at Hobby Lobby over in the area where they have the blank t-shirts and vests to decorate. Cost only about $10 for the set.
