Ealier in the week (only a few days ago I think), a member posted that she had a quilting machine for sale, because she was going to move in with her daughter. today a friend of mine just happened to mention that she is looking for one. I searched the site, but couldn't come up with the right date, the topics that came up were in 2010 or not appropriate.
Can someone tell me a better way to search? or if you happen to remember the date it was posted, can you give me the link? I would really appreciate it. Thank you,
Thuan

Well, I remembered that it was an HQ Sixteen that she was selling, so I put that into the Search box.

I see, otherwise it's hard to look for it. When you click on the "Recent Topics" it doesn't look like when you first open the link either. I don't think they are in topic (alphabetical) order; I think they are in the order of the "last post", which is hard to find the topic. Maybe just because I don't know how to look.
But anyway, I am glad you found it. I passed the information on to my friend.
Thank you again.

If you subscribe to the "Classifieds" section, when you go to the "Quilting Forum" page (upper lefthand corner of your screen), that section will be listed for viewing. You can click on that and it will pull up just the recent Classifieds section posts (things that are for sale).

I've forgotten how to subscribe and unsubscribe to different sections. There was a PM ages ago with a link to the page where you can do that. Maybe someone else still has that link?

Glad you found it! Will your friend be doing all your quilting now?

She has been quilting for a long time, she has 5 sewing machines, like some of you. She told me today that she's looking at a Bailey machine; then I remember there was some discussion here about it plus that ad. I hope she can find something that will suit her.
As for Prism99 question, I think you can check "watch" topic then every time there is a reply you get a notification. I think that's what she's talking about???

Nope, it's something else.

Aha! I found it! Here's the link to where you subscribe and unsubscribe to various sections of the QB:

Members Buy/Sell/Trade - Classifieds is about 2/3rds of the way down.
