Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to buy some tone on tone fabrics, in particular off whites to creams and would like to know where I can find some that aren't real thin and practically see through. The only ones I've found in the past of decent quality were Moda Muslin Mates, but they're quite pricey. Any other suggestions? Thanks so much!

Thanks Loretta,

I appreciate hearing about your shopping experiences with them. I've only ordered once from them, and it was for sale items that were okay. So, have you specifically ordered any off white or cream tone on tone fabrics from them?

this website tells you exactly which manufacturer makes the fabric so if you stick with the quality ones you know of you should be fine.

if its a manufacturer you don't know you could always post the name on the forum and ask people if they purchased fabric from them.

Thanks Klue,

Sounds like you're saying I can't go wrong as long as I order from one of the quality mfgs like Moda, RJR, etc. Glad to know that.

yup, that has been my rule of thumb with this site and it has served me well - i've never rec'd what i would consider 2nd quality fabric from them but i've always purchased well respected producers like moda, etc.

When I looked up tone on tones at fabric.com, I found these four pages of them, but I can't see a manufacturer name for any of them. Is there somewhere else to look? Thanks.
