No info about the pattern, just congratulations on a great idea for that new grandbaby! Airplane quilt for the child of an Air Force man! You're going to be a terrific grandma!

I can see that you got your answer. I made this quilt for my daughter, when she graduated with her degree in aviation management. I purchased the pattern from Keepsake Quilting. I even made one to give to her girlfriend who helped her move to TX for her first job at an airport. When she was expecting my daughter asked me to make her a quilt to which I responded that she already had one, but her friend said that her child was not coming near it, it meant too much to her. Great for my ego. It's a nice quilt for a boy or a girl. Have fun with it.

Enjoy you grandbaby. They are so much fun. My son is in the Navy in Japan. He loves it there. He is currently stationed on a Marine base in Iwakuni, Japan. I assume you know to alway mail things to the military address in one of the flat rate postage boxes. I cram them full of things when I send them. The last pkg i sent was in a flat rate box, if I had sent it regular mail to Japan it would have been $55. We have a code with my son if it is for his wife I use pink or red ink, if it is for him I use black or blue. Saves a ton of money.

My niece is expecting, also, so I purchased the pattern, too. Don't know the sex, but the pattern was too cute to pass up. Thanks for the idea!!
