Default Looking for Quilt Shops in Delaware.

My husband and I will be in Delaware in two weeks. I have a few shops on my list but wondered if any one had any shops that they thought was worth a stop at. We have a day plan to run over to Lancaster, PA also.

    Thanks for sharing.... Phannie

I was on vacation in Ocean City, MD last week and saw on this board that Serendipity was the closest shop to Ocean City. Last Monday in between the rain we ran over to Dagsboro and what and beautiful shop Serendipity is. The people were so welcoming and they have a lot of quilts hanging on the walls with the quilters name and date. I love seeing quilts in person. I spent in excess of $100.00. I live in North Wilmington, DE but will definitely make the trip down to Serendipity again. They're closed on Sunday and have a web site. Hope you enjoy it!

Ok, Been in Delaware for the week. I have visited 4 quilt shops and went by one that is closed on Mondays
Serendipity was fantastic! Love the organization and the quilts. I found the one in Lewes, Mare Bears' quilting just as much and lot more charactor fabric, childrens' prints and beachy prints.

Also hit the Delaware Sewing centers in Milford and Dover. They each were so friendly and had some things I needed for a few of my projects.

I spent more than my budget but am so happy with all my purchases.... and looking forward to my next visit.
