Are you willing to commute? :) I'm kinda in the same boat. None of my friends or family are interested in quilting. They do however like the quilts if give them as gifts.:)

Hi Lucymae I live in Springfield and there is a lady in Batesburg-Leesville looking for a quilting buddy, also,. Maybe we all three can be buddies. Long distant buddies if need be. I just want someone to talk to sometimes about problems with projests.

Wouldn't it be nice if the government would provide a Quilter's Week Long Retreat to sew for preemies, needy, military, etc., in a resort area, of course?!

I too was in the same boat but joined the Quilting in the New Year Swap in Jan and now I must say I do have my best friend on the Quilting Board. In this swap you chat with your partner and decide on projects you want to try and communicate until its completed.
Because of this swap I now chat daily with Bonni and we have become best friends. It's a monthly swap so be sure to check it out - it might help you too. We'd love to have you join.
