I need any easy star design that i can repeat in different christmas prints for a sampler... any ideas?

Try quilterscache.com. They some wonderful easy star patterns.

how's your little helper doing? My son starts school in september! oh joy!

what about the Friendship star? That goes together quick and easy, and it's cute. :) Would look awesome (IMHO) in a Christmas Sampler quilt.

He is doing good. He starts preschool in August, I'm so going to enjoy the quiet time. :-)

Lucky Stars by Atkinson Designs is very forgiving with points. You'll see plenty of pretty examples if you do a search here.

Lucky Star is super easy. Here's one I made. I had to add sashing as I didn't have ehough of the print to make more blocks. Was just using up stash for chairty quilts.
