Default Looking for Suggestions for Quilting Guild Activities

We are currently preparing the syllabus for the coming season for our quilting guild. Do you have any suggestions for outings or workshops that we could consider. Many thanks.

things our Guild did/has done with little or no cost
1) member studio tour (3/4 members opened there "studio" to the guild-2-3 others were hostesses)
2) a mystery quilt started in January the reveal is at the Nov meeting with the member leader showing a technique we learned for the quilt.
3) HST swap. Each month HST colors are swapped. (Used paper sheet printed as foundation. Members made as many as they wanted to swap.) The last meeting of the year a member gave different quilt projects using the HST that were swapped. Great get to know u project.
4) our smaller evening group made quilted baskets
5) played Bingo where quilt prizes equal a fat quarter
6) work stations set up where members demonstrate several binding techniques. (Machine, continuous, bias, etc)
Hope this helps.

In a former quilt guild I belonged to, we had a tour of members quilting setup which is how I found out about peg board a few decades ago. Now we can do it from our computers and see other members of this board quilting studios.

Ruler night, demos of specially rulers that we all buy and then don't use. I am enjoying working with long arm rulers on my regular sewing machine and a demo on those might interest others.
