Thread: lost books

I guess I mislead by mentioning two book cases.. They are each a wall 16 feet by 8 foot high. They are built in. I went though both. I'm inclined to think I brought them with me to my brother's, and forgot to take them home.

I've done this numerous times. I also rarely lend out books. But i have many more than 2 bookcases. Two different books, I've ended up buying twice. One of the two copies I've been taking with me traveling, so it didn't really hurt to have a second copy. When I lose something, I'm likely to find it when I least expect it, in a fairly unlikely place. Lately, it doesn't help that everything in our house got packed up to install new flooring. You make me feel so much better about losing things that are right in front of me. Sometimes I just walk away and come back a little later and voila there it is right where I looked before.

The only time (twice) wa because a new cover had been put on an older book. My daughter gained 2 new books for her collection, so it worked out
