Default The Lost Quilt Top has been FOUND!!!!!!!!!!!

Way last January I posted that I had lost a small crib quilt top that I'd been asked to quilt (by machine) for pay by a local lady. She'd embroidered and assembled the block and supplied batt and backing. That was the summer before.
Well finally got around to having the time to quilt it for her ... and could not find it anywhere. I even tom my sewing room apart and sorted through all my boxes. No quilt top ...
Today while cleaning and preparing for my DD and the two DGKs, what should be sitting on top of the bed amidst the turmoil but ... a plastic zippered pouch with fabric and a small crib batt. Checked it out and ... the lost is found!
I called the lady right away and told her I'd do my very best to get it quilted for her for Christmas.
She had six tops for me to do but this one will be on the house.
I have apologized and will no longer take in anything until I'm ready to quilt it.

Happy for you that you can finally put your mind at ease. It must have taken up some mental energy worrying about it all this time. Good for you. Hope she likes the final outcome.

Losing or misplacing something for yourself is bad enough, but I can only imagine how you felt losing something that belonged to someone else. Congratulations!

I think it is wonderful that you found the top. I know the lady you are quilting for knew eventually you would find it, otherwise, why would she continue to bring you tops? You have a fabulous friend/customer in that lady. She's a keeper.

Yikes! How nerve wracking that must have been! I hang my tops ready to be quilted in a clothes closet or that would probably happen to me, especially with one so small. So glad you found it!
