During one of my many google searches, I came across this site. If you look on the right side of the page under the title "Categories" there are listings for quilts that are Found Missing and Recovered. It is a place where quilts that have been lost or stolen can be registered. It is a shame! Some beautiful quilts on here!

Thank you for sharing this important link. We can only hope with many eyes watching that these can be brought home to their rightful owners.

As I was looking through the pictures, it just made me sick and then angry that someone could be sooo heartless to take something that the quilter invested so much time, effort, skill and just plain heart into! I don't understand how some people live with them selves! They must not have a soul. . . .

Some people just look at quilts as "blankets"
Isn't that sad?

It is truely sad that people take things that have so much time and love sewn in. The missing quilts are works of art and I would be heartbroken if they were mine. Thanks for posting, maybe someone on here will recognise one or two. I am afraid that some of them were thrown into the garbage by mistake, never to be seen again.
