I am going to be in Adrian MI for Thanksgiving. Hoping to find some quilt shops nearby for Friday shopping just to get out of the ILs house! Luckily we are renting a hotel suite to stay at, but I would love to have other plans made so I have somewhere to go.

Anyone know of any within say 30 miles? I'd rather not drive into Detroit, but could hit Ann Arbor, Lansing or Toledo areas.\

Thanks!

If you can make it into Tecumseh, you wil find Quilt Patch, a
very nice fabric shop. Large selection of quilting fabrics, and anything else a quilter could can want. If you have a Garman it will tell you how to find it. Rather tricky to find the first time. You can only park in the back of the store. Good luck.

Thanks! That's only about 13 miles from ILs and I know I've been to/through Tecumseh in the past!

If you hit Brighton or Howell, there are several shops along the Grand River stretch. If that isn't too far for you, PM me and I will send you the names and you can go to their websites. Depending on how far you want to drive, there are 8 shops between Howell and Farmington. Then there are at least 1 Walmart with tons of fabric and 2 JoAnn's all on the same route. That's 11 stores--should keep you busy. lol Of course, they will surely be busy on Friday.

I live in Adrian!

Tecumseh is the only close store, other than Joann's. PM me if you need any other info.

If you want to go as far as Saline, there is a nice little shop east of town. There is a strip mall right on Michigan Ave... the quilt shop is on the side of the mall..... not right in front.

The quilt shop in Ann Arbor is on Jackson Road, West of town. It's easy to find..... about a 1/2 mile east of Meijer's on Jackson Road, south side of the road.

The biggest shop is the Quilt Patch in Tecumseh.....lots of fabric and ideas. We live in Manchester in the winter and these three are my shops to visit.... If you want to go farther, I have more suggestions.

Good luck. Wish I were down there at that time. I'd be happy to navigate your shopping.

Thanks for all the help! Barb, we will be staying at the Carlton Lodge. I think it is near Lenawee Christian School and ILs live behind the Country Club. My SIL and her family are coming too and staying with the ILs and I just didn't want to be crammed into one house. Maybe we could meet at the quilt shop. My email is luvspaper at gmail dot com.

I definitely will make it to Tecumseh. Not sure about Saline.

Thanks for y'alls help!
