Hi everyone:
I tried again last night and this time I used my Magna Hoop with the metal plate only. Did use light weight wash-away stabilizer. Layed the metal plate on the stabilizer, centered the block using the opening of the plate and where the needle centered. Then used the maganets without the plastic plate that goes on top. The maganets held the quilt in place good enough to sew the design out slowly. If I used the plastic plate on top the maganets would not
stick because the quilt was too thick. It did work nicely and much easier to center the block this way than trying to
get it right in the hoop.
