I acquired a Brother SE-350 and I would like to make some quilt labels, etc with it. Can you give me suggestions as to what kind of threads I need to start stocking up on? I'm clueless! There are so many types of threads out there that I don't even know where to begin! Thanks.

Most embroidery thread is a 40 wt thread. I have got alot of mine off of ebay in good sized batches for a very reasonble price. It has all worked very well for me :D:D:D

I have the same machine I use the $1.99 cones from Joanns or whatever I have on hand. I don't buy the special thread and have not had a problem!

I use Isacord, mostly because that's what my LQS has.

Walmart carries some machine embroidery threads that will work well with your Brother, but the colors have no shine. I prefer Thread Art.

Do you mean the cones? I haven't had any trouble and they last forever, Yes a little linty but a good cleaning takes care of that.
