    Default Machine quilting

Doing machine quilting and was using my daughters till she took it back. Now I am looking for my own machine for quilting. Since there are so many out there who machine quilt I thought this a great place to get some feed back on which machines you think are the best. Thanks

A Juki or Brother straight stitch with the 9" harp, I have the Juki and did many quilts on it til I got my longarm. I still use it for piecing, I LOVE it!!!

Go to a licensed dealer for a brand you are interested in and see if they have a used machine they have gone over/reconditioned for sale. You can get a lot more machine for your money this way. I got my Janome 6600P for $350 this way. There is a quilt/sewing machine store near me that is a licensed Janome dealer & they usually have a lot of used machines.

If your going to be quilting on it, you want a larger "harp", whatever machine you get.
