Machine Quilting with a Walking Foot

Has anyone taken Jackie Gering's class on machine quilting with a walking foot on Craftsy? I'm considering taking this class but would like some input from others that may have taken the class. Thanks.

I downloaded the class and watch it in spare moments.
I was impressed with what she does and she does have some good ideas.
The only downside for me is that I use a Pfaff machine and don't have a separate walking foot. But I can use her suggestions by using the bar that helps keep stitching lines evenly separated.

Nanny, Sew4Less has generic walking feet. You will just have to know if your shank is long or short.

I do straight line quilting a lot. I like the large stipple to do meadering with the darning foot best. I am doing straight line now for charity quilts. I don't take lessons, too much time. I work full time and only have time for quilt making.

I do a lot of straight line quilting on my old Pfaff - about 25 years old, and I just use the regular sewing foot. Since it has the built in IDT, I don't have any problem at all. Here is an excellent website for straight line quilting: http://blog.petitdesignco.com

I say enroll and you will learn at least one thing new. I like this book: One Line at a Time: 24 Geometric Machine-Quilting Designs Made Easy by Charlotte Warr Anderson
It is excellent for walking foot quilting.

Sailorwoman--Thank you for that link! Perfect timing too, since I have a baby top to quilt and am just not comfortable enough with FMQ to do it on a gift.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down the their level and beat you with experience.
