Making clear pockets for pictures on quilt?

I am putting together a Signature quilt from my daughters wedding. She wants some clear pockets to put pictures in . What type of clear plastic can I use and where can I find some? I need to be able to sew it on. Thanks for your help.

My son's girlfriend made a wall hanging with clear pockets for milestone pictures we used heavy clear vinyl I am not sure how it would wash but make your stitch length longer to sew on the plastic . Might be able to wash on gentle warm setting.

Thanks Donna, It is going to be a wall hanging , so I shouldn't have to worry about the washing. Where did you get your vinyl? I think I have seen some at Walmart.

use the clear vinyl for table clothes. You need a Teflon foot or tissue paper between foot and vinyl. The tissue paper will tear off easily

You can get vinyl at JAF or Walmart. They are sold on a roll like Home Dec fabric.

Joanne has different weights of vinyl. Light to heavy gauge.
