Hi Julie. What's the pastor's name? Who will distribute them and how do you decide which family gets one if there aren't enough coming in. Just curious.

HI - thank you for these questions.

The pastor's name is Dr. Tommy Gray. As far as I know as the need is seen, and a quilt be available and what couldbe used, that family gets the quilt.

Our daughter will give me more info should you need more.

The church's website is FriendshipUMC.org - or Friendship United Methodist Church Athens Al, if you wish to go to their website using google.com. Church secretary's name is Celia, if I am remmebreing that correctly.

Only completed items should be sent, wherever you are sending to diasater victims. You can see, there just is no way to quilt the quilt tops at this time.

Julie :D

Thank you. I'll try to get one sent out to you. All I have on hand that is completed and doesn't already belong to a client, are throws. But I know the size won't matter. It's the thought that will be appreciated. I have a dear friend in Tuscaloosa who huddled in her hallway, all alone, terrified and praying non-stop until the noise passed. The tornado missed her property by half a mile.
