Here is my quilting space in my basement. I'm an empty nester too and find I spend alot of time here than I ever did.

WOW, what a great space! And unlike me, you can see the floor! and the table! and find your other sewing machine!
I sew in the dining room and it looks like a tornado hit. Having a dinner party next week so gotta clean!!!

Such a fabulous room with so much space to have as your quilting room. I would spend tons of time in there myself.

I wanted mine in the basement but every once in a while when it rains just right we get water in the basement. Since I don't want water in my sewing things, I elected to stay in the sewing room upstairs. Would love to have the extra space though.

WOW! I just bookmarked your sewing room. I have a finished basement in our house in TN and hope to use it as a quilting room when my husband retires! I love the colors of the room...so warm and cozy and the design wall element is awesome. And that table for cutting...you have a great set up!!!

I like the way you laid out your room. I got a rolling desk chair that made it easier to go from station to station. :thumbup:
