Default What color thread would you quilt this??

I am not sure what color I should use to quilt my Bargello. Neutral, like a beige, or maybe a grey. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I think a light beige or a light grey. It is beautiful

I think either would work fine. Maybe the light grey might work better. Beautiful quilt.

I like the idea of a grey thread , maybe even a varigated grey thread.

I take my threads, undo a few feet and lay them in different spots, going across several colors to get a real feel for the effect it will give. the color on a cone is just too concentrated to be a judging element....pull some off and see what it does. then, if all else failed, i would go to joanns, get a cone of their 'gold' .... it is one of those colors that looks gold, beige, pale sage and even a bit yellow, depending on what it's on top of and is a standard for me.... it simply looks wonderful on almost anything....

why not use a grey/purple varigated on top and the color of the backing on the bottom?

I must say that I have no idea what color to do it with, but the bargello certainly "moves"! Amazing pattern and great work!

grey thread...It's amazing how just that little difference makes. I just finished hand-quilting a quilt in light grey.

I'd go with the grey. Your quilt is stunning!

love you quilt and I think a varigated gray would be great, but agree with deemail about putting some thread on the top across colors.
