Does anyone have a source for a pattern for a full or queen size quilt that incorporates the Eagle,Globe, and Anchor? My son is a Marine serving in Iraq and I would like to make one for him while he is away from home. I machine quilt.
Thanks,
SuzanneSDY

I don't know if this will do any good since it isn't a pattern, but I did find this picture of their logo and if you click on the picture, it will give you a larger view. You could possibly print that out, enlarge it, and make a copy for your own use in fabric. Maybe??? Sorry, I didn't find anything else on my little search.

I have seen some military embroidery designs when I was browsing through different embroidery designers websites.

Have you tried the Marine Corp recruiter? They may have an old poster, or some such around that you could work from,

WalMart often carries fleece that has full size blantet logo of the various military organizations. My son is full time Army - in Iraq for the second time. I made him a cuddly fleece with the Army logo. I put two pieces together, the front with the logo, and the back a coordinating color. I think I added a border to the logo top to make it a bit bigger. Anyway, Walmart is a good place to check. (if they haven't closed it out. Sara

I'm in Kanab Utah. It's 5 miles from the AZ border. Kinda in the middle of nowhere. Close to Zions Ntl Park and Grand Canyon, and 80 miles from the nearest Walmart. Jonathan is in the regular Army in inteligence. He was there in 2002 for a year, and this time for 1 1/2 year, hopefully home in Nov. Sara
