Default Mark with washable colored markerts

When making a quilt with busy dark colors I found that the traditional fabric markers did not show. Out of frustration, I picked up one of my granddaughter's colored markers. The package said "washable" and I had 20 different colors so I could find one that showed on each piece of fabric. They worked great and completely washed out. Oh yes, they cost one dollar for the whole pack of 20!

I usually use Clover white chalk with a wheel when marking on dark colors. Glad they washed out. I don't normally wash my quilts until they need it.

I would only trust Crayola brand of washable markers. The new ones wash out and off completely. Theses are the only ones allowed at pre school and grandma's house. LOL

I have had no trouble with washable markers. I always test them on a scrap first.

Yes, I swear by the Crayola also! Even if the marks have been in for a few months they still come out easily!
