Default Marshall Dry Goods - Have you used them?

I found this site online and their prices, even when you include shipping, seem to be extremely user friendly. Has anyone had any experience with this company?

Thanks!
Helen

I have purchased wide backings from them. The quality was fine and service was quick!

I live about 2 hours away. I go the warehouse a lot. I see many quilt shop vans in the parking lot, most from Texas and OK, and surrounding states. All the name brand fabrics are there except Moda. I saw the same Riley Blake new fabric there the last time I went as was in the LQS I stopped at on the way. Not many batiks but lots of tie dye. It's quilt shop quality to cheaper quality. Whatever you want in fabric. Every type of cheater cloth, panels, fabric books, printed aprons and projects on fabric you could ever want. You can buy a whole bolt for about $3-4 yard without a tax number or pay a little more and buy yardage. I think the quilt shop buyers get a better deal.

I've ordered several times from their retail side and have been very happy with the quality. Even with shipping, the cost ends up being about 1/2 - 2/3rds what I can get locally. I opened up a wholesale account. I haven't ordered from that side yet as a flat-fold bundle is around 80-90 yards of 15-16 different prints. But at $1.99 a yard, I'm tempted to order a bundle and sell the excess through E-Bay. Still trying to decide if that will be worth my while or not.

I've seen the flat fold bundles in person. It's a lot of fabric! At the store you can buy one piece out of the flat folds. They are open and sorted by color. But you have to buy the whole piece. Each piece is usually 3- 5 yards. The big clearance bins are my favorite to dig in.
