Well congratulations to your DGD. No pride in your family, you've got all of it. I just watched a video the other day of a past episode. DH taped the shows for me. I may still have them. Congrats again to your DGD.

Thanks for asking. As I mentioned, With her fellowship $$ she & I will attend a learning retreat. Then she will set up her studio. She has many art pieces she'll display. She hopes to go back to school and get her masters. She'd like to teach all forms of arts ( from painting, charcoals, wood, metal, creative writing, and especially fibers & textiles including quilting) in a college, while doing free lance work on the side to supplement her arts. She wrote and illustrated a comic strip for one of the departments while in school these past two years. I sent you a pm with a link to an article I think you'd enjoy.

Congratulations. It is wonderful when your grandchild shared your passion! I have a lot of Martha Pullen magazines from 18 years ago, complete with patterns. Plus I have lots of heirloom patterns. I no longer have anyone to sew heirloom for. I probably should sell them so someone else could enjoy them.
