Default Marvel/dc comics quilt

I have just started quilting again, and I think my husband is a little jealous of the quilts going out the door to warm others! He found some fabric that he likes and has requested a lap quilt for the couch. I am sure that retro marvel and dc comics on a quilt will brighten up our living room! So I purchased the fabric from Keepsake quilting and Fabric worm, and now need to decide on a pattern. Any thoughts for the Hulk, Batman, Superman and the fantastic Four (to name a few) that is not too complicated?
Thank you in advance for what I am sure will be excellent advice!

The 10 minute block would give you the opportunity to get more of the motif in a block without fussy cutting. Then you could put a solid or solids in the center square.

Thanks so much for that link! It's a very pretty quilt. The Candy Bar quilt is with that pattern also.

It is a VERY generous sized lap quilt...great for a tall man (or woman). Then you sew your remaining pieces and you have your Candy Bar quilt. It is a great pattern that is very versatile. Not to mention you get two quilt patterns for the price of one and two quilts out of the fabric you would usually buy for one (except backing and binding, of course).
