I'm heading to Ellicot City, MD later this week and was wondering if there were any LQS shops in the area. Don't really know how much time I'll have. Also looking for the best crab cakes in the area. Shannon's was really good but we were there a few weeks ago and I was disappointed as they seem to have added sherry to their recipe. Probably only have lunch available on Fri for that. We'll be there for the Preakness Balloon Festival if anyone is nearby. Weather doesn't look great so far but we'll be there anyhow.

Thanks.

Don't know anything about Maryland but noticed you were from Central NJ. I lived in Martinsville and had a business on 22 in GreenBrook (near Plainfield) for 23 years. Before Martinsville I lived in Metuchen then Dunellen. Now I live in Alabama.

Still have lots of friends there and miss it alot.

Don't know much about Ellicott City, but in Glen Burnie on Ritchie Hwy you could try Mo's for a really good crab cake. There is also one in the Inner Harbour. The only LQS I was familar with was here in Glen Burnie but closed last summer. There is one in Annapolis that's really nice. Geez, for the life of me I can't remember the name. but, if you think you might want to try Annapolis let me know and I can find out what the name is. Have fun!
