Multiply all by themselves? I have been using them but there were so many that I decided to sell them. I figured that 6 flat rate envelopes stuffed to the point of exploding would do the trick but NOOOO!! I filled 3 envelopes plus 2 lg. Flat rate boxes and there's still more. I think they are oozing out of the walls or maybe there are bunnies in my crumb box giving lessons. LOL!! :-)

My stash has no problem disappearing, especially since I quit buying.

Know what you mean! Came across a box of scraps from a batch of fencing doublets we made several years ago. Really nice heavy twill that will make some great pillows or wall hangings. However I think those scraps divided and multiplied while they were hiding! Didn't remember there being so many small pieces.

I found a box of scraps from a flannel rag quilt. I did not know why I saved it. You mean I can sell this stuff?

I feel that way too. I just donate them to people on this board that I do business with. Don't get sick or have a crisis and I read about it. People usually get a scarf and if they are lucky all of the scraps on the floor that particular day. I figure if they keep them fine if not pass them on. hehehe.

yes fabric multiplies---gives the bunnies lessons!
i box mine up into flat rate boxes and pass them on to people who are working on community projects- or helping others-
i figure i got my $$ out of them- i don't feel i need to resell my fabric- i just pass it on when i don't feel i have any more in me to work with them any longer
I have scraps from projects many years ago- ones that even though there is only a few inches left- i can not part with it---and i still sneak a bit into quilts
then i have those fabrics that when i finish a project i just want the left overs to go away---
those i pass on-
it is amazing sometimes how many different quilts you can use 1 yard of fabric in sometime- in different ways
but they do get out of control sometimes-
i just stuffed a large flat rate box last week to clear off my cutting table- i was so tired of the fabrics i just wanted them gone---so gone they are.
now i can move on to a new project...i need to do more (weeding) soon
there does not seem to be any (birth-control) that works when it comes to fabric!

I like your idea about moving the fabrics along to others. There are some I'd love to do that with. I have some more selvage edges I'll have to put on the classifieds as well as a whole bunch of Christmas scraps that I planned to use in a string quilt or 'something'. I should use ckcowl's example and start doing that.
