Memory Quilt Photo Question
#13
Yes to both. I did a quilt for a friend. He wanted the pictures to come out looking gold. I found a fabric that was the shade he wanted. I treated it with Bubble Jet set and printed it on an HP printer.
To feed the fabric through the printer, I cut the fabric to be slightly smaller than 8 1/2 by 11. Then lightly sprayed the back of the fabric with repositionable basting spray. I made sure to only spray around the edges. I mounted the fabric onto a sheet of paper and fed it into the printer. It worked like a charm.
For your fabric selection, be sure the background print doesn't interfere with the picture. The first fabric we picked made the person in the photo look like she had acne. oops!
