A few that I know of..... gunny148; Holice; Lostn'51; Lockeb;
My DH doesn't quilt, but he always helps when I need a 2nd opinion. I did a quick forum search, so I'm sure you'll find a few more, and especially now that so many members are buying the long arm set-ups.

My dad bought a longarm and learned how to sew. He and my mother quilt together. She is a hand quilter.

The Long arm.. wow.. unfamiliar territory. BUT not men quilting.

Husband's grandfather, my grandfather - from different regions of the same state. Husband sews his buttons, seat for a cooler motorcycle in the summer. If he had time, he would. just 14 hour days fizzle him right now.. I do see this as a thing a little later.

Congratulations ! You can do this too ! don't get discouraged. It is a mechanical thing. you'll be great !

Don't forget about Eddie!

You don't say your first name, so I'm going to call you Buddy.

If you send a PM to any of the guys mentioned above, I'm sure they will be happy to share their thoughts and ideas with you. All of them are very nice guys.

Buddy, do you have any pets? If yes, make something on the long arm for them. They won't care if the stitches are perfect or not and that will give you an opportunity to practice on your long arm. Good luck!

I wish I could get my boyfriend to quilt. He would do so much better than me. I think you just need to be in the right mood for it. Maybe there is a certain new style of quilting you could try. That helps me.

Here is a thread that was posted not too long ago. You can find most of the men quilters here.
