Default Metal Pressing Bars for Applique

Can anyone tell me where I can find the metal pressing bars? I've used them in class and prefer them over the plastic. I am having trouble finding some or am using the wrong search terms. TIA!

Bias Press Bars. I bought the no melt plastic ones, but haven't tried them yet.

This might seem silly but a teacher giving a class on applique was using some bars from windshield wipers...she said she just took them off the wipers when her husband changed them on his car. She said why pay more when they work just the same.

Have you tried using bamboo kabob sticks? You get a lot for $1. Just press the seam open (with stick inside strip) and as you move the stick up the strip, press flat, if desired. I don't like flat applique, so I don't press my stems flat, but I do open the seams and trim edges. Dollar Tree sells thinner sticks that work for all widths of stems.
