We just traded our Kenquilt 622 in for a Tin Lizzie 18DLS and am now thinking about the micro handles. I love my Tin lizzie as it is sweet to quilt on but I am wondering if anyone uses the micro handles instead of the handlebars.
Welcome to the Quilting Board!

We just traded our Kenquilt 622 in for a Tin Lizzie 18DLS and am now thinking about the micro handles. I love my Tin lizzie as it is sweet to quilt on but I am wondering if anyone uses the micro handles instead of the handlebars.
it depends on what type of quilting you do---micro handles are used for tiny stitching-filling with tiny stippling- close up small detail work- so if that's the type of quilting you do the micro handles would be handy.
hiding away in my stash where i'm warm, safe and happy
I have micro handles for my Baby Lock Crown Jewel 18". I use them once in awhile when I have some very intricate parts of my pattern. For my machine, they block the view for general quilting.
I practiced with them alot first as the feel is different. But I am very glad I have them.

I have micro handles on my Innova. I find that I use them most of the time, especially if using a ruler or template.
I have micro handles on my viking 18x8 they are very helpful.
I have them on my Millennium and love them. Makes for great control in tight spaces.
From the front of my HQ they the only handles I use. I have them tilted up a bit higher than I would if doing micro stitching.
After 2 years with the same signature I have been requested to remove it. Bye
I have the micro handles on my HQ Avante and use them all the time. I like having them down low where I can really hold onto them and control them.
Thanks for the replies and I think we will get them on order. I just cant decide if we need the ruler foot first or the micro handles.
