it is for getting quilters to spend waaaaaaaaaay more than they need to.

i have a faaaaaaabulous piece of equipment that helps me avoid mold and mildew.

Actually, it is a great price compared to some I have been looking at. I agee with you on this though, I use my washing machine too, I was only curious if any one ever used it for their quilts.

Maybe if you lived in a tropical climate it might be an issue...but then would you be using/needing a quilt lol.

I may consider that if I was making a quilt for someone with severe allergys... other wise I prefer cotton batting.
