Hi Maire:
Do you have any pictures you can show of your quilts? It sounds like an interesting way to do the Mile-a-Minute pattern. Thank you.

Hi Frenan:
Thanks for the website, these are really easy, clear instructions.

I don't have any digital photos but can take a photos of one I have here, just not now out of town company just left & 5 more coming Sat, LOL, keep this old lady busy. But can you direct me to link or instructions on how to post a photo here? Can't find instructions. Now I've gotten the urge to do more Mile a Min, fun to do & in the past I was able to keep 1 or 2 tops ready to go when I knew of someone needing a quilt, then I would just sandwich it with a backing suitable for that person & FMQ it. But now out of tops.

Here's a link to a Mile a Minute quilt that I am finding very inspiring. Scroll down the page to "That Moment When...." to see it: https://sewingroomsecrets.wordpress....tchwork-quilt/

This would certainly put a dent in the scrap stash.

The way the Mile a Minute blocks were cut, with the square ruler on a diagonal is how I cut mine & was trying to explain, but how she placed all the blocks & sashing the quilting is fantastic, my imagination doesn't go that far. I just alternated my blocks with a white on white block & added a narrow dark tone on tone print & 4 inch white outer border, used the same tone on tone for binding.
