I agree with Jan. Also, not many people know just how much time is put into making items such as yours. Not sure that anyone will understand the high (yet very justifiable) price because of other quilted items out in the market which are low-budget and appear hand-made but are mass-produced by automation and aren't near the quality. Definitely aim for higher-end boutique shops if possible so that you can make the amount that you deserve.

If you consider yourself a skilled laborer then you have to charge more. And therein lies the dilemma. If you're trying to get $300+ in small town mid-America, it's not going to happen. NYC, maybe. But even then it may be a slow sale with a limited market.

Art in fiber is just a hard sell, you know?
